Breakout
For: Kids, Grades 3-6Cost: $35/child (Includes book and goes toward cost of store items, carnival and awards). Plus money for Celebration Nights.
Overview: Breakout is designed to guide children toward spiritual maturity. Over four years, the children work through the following areas: Knowing Christ, Growing in Christ, Serving Christ and Sharing Christ. The kids are encouraged to develop relationships with their leaders and accountability with other children.
Format: Children will be in groups according to their age. Each group will rotate through 3 areas: Large group worship and lesson, Bible Study and games. Students complete a lesson from their book at home each week and then discuss their homework with their Bible Study group, where they apply Biblical truth to their lives. Each group exchanges prayer requests and spends time praying for one another.
Family Responsibility: Children are expected to complete their homework and memorize at least one Bible verse
Incentives: Homework is checked each week and children earn the opportunity to be a part of the Celebration Nights after every eight lessons.
