Walk Across the Room

Don't miss the October four-week series, Walk Across the Room. Bill Hybels' book helps bring personal evangelism into the twenty-first century with a natural and empowering approach modeled after Jesus Himself. When Christ "walked" clear across the cosmos more than 2,000 years ago, He had no forced formulas and no memorized script. Rather, He came armed only with an offer of redemption for people like us, many of whom were neck-deep in pain of our own making.

This dynamic experience will help to equip and insire each of us to take simple walks across the room—leaving our circle of comfort, and extending hands of care, compassion and inclusivenss to people who might need a touch of God's love today.

The Road to Recovery

Dealing with Life's Hurts, Habits and Hang-ups

The fact is life is tough. We live in an imperfect world. We're hurt by other people, we hurt ourselves and we hurt others. The Bible says, "All have sinned." That means none of us is perfect. We've all blown it. We've all made mistakes. This series is for everybody. Everyone needs recovery unless you've lived a perfect life. But if you haven't lived a perfect life, if you've ever been hurt, if you've ever had a hang-up or a habit that you'd like to get rid of, you need recovery. Senior Pastor Rick Ensrud begins this series on August 12, 2007.

Special Message

On Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at 6:10 PM, the people of the Twin Cities were graphically reminded that not everything in the world is good and happy. On that day the Interstate 35W bridge collapsed into the Mississippi River, killing 13 people and injuring scores of others. Times like these call for Christians to be ready to give a word of grace seasoned with Biblical truth so that we can help people understand that although our world is broken, God is still in control, and all history is in His hands.
