Spring Tea: A Cup of Kindness

The tables were set. All were different and all were a beautiful sight to see.  Walking into the Fellowship Hall was a totally different experience to behold on the day of the Women’s Spring Tea. We enjoyed a variety of teas, treats and goodies and we admired beautiful jewelry modeled by BPEFC women and one “surprise” model.

Jeannette and Brenda presented a heartfelt song. Pat Laubersheimer shared from her heart and the Bible about kindness and how it is a choice that we all need to make daily. She also brought with her a complete tea set and explained the process of growing, brewing and drinking a good cup of tea…and how Jesus grows us, teaches us (brewing us)-growing us in His wisdom and love, and then sets us free to be kind to others-sharing His love. It was a wonderful comparison of how Christ works within each of us.

The event raised scholarship funds to help women attend this fall’s Women’s Retreat. Thank you to all who came. A special thank you to the Prayer team and Women’s Ministry team for all you did.  Bless you all for being a part of such a special morning.
