Care Ministries

Parish Nurses

Parish Nurses are professional nurses who are called and are committed to the healing ministry of our church. The parish nurse helps meet the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs by intertwining their health with faith and prayer. This ministry is grounded in the tradition of the church, to preach the kingdom of God and to heal. --Luke 9:2

Parish Nurses facilitate positive lifestyle changes through:
  • Prayer
  • Health assessment
  • Support Groups
  • Health education
  • Referrals to health care providers and community resources

Health Ministry Team

The Health Ministry Team is a group of individuals from our congregation who advise and guide the ministry of promoting health in our church and community through Christian principles of living. Contact a parish nurse if you are interested in helping with this ministry.
