Core Values

Core ValuesOur Core 4 Values flow directly from our purpose statement. As a multi-cultural church proclaiming the Word of God, we pursue to make disciples in Christ who are passionately SEEKING God, LOVING one another, SHARING Christ and SERVING others (view Core 4 Ministries).

SEEKING GOD: Personal and Public Worship

Honor God in all we do

SEEKING GOD: Personal and Public WorshipRomans 12:1 says to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

Everything we do in this life is an act of worship, or the means by which we ascribe worth to God. Our relationship with God influences us and guides us into doing things in a manner that is pleasing to Him, and thus, brings glory to God.

People who come to our church for the very first time often say that they sense a "Spirit of worship" in this place.

LOVING ONE ANOTHER: Growth, support and fellowship

Practice intentional disciplemaking

LOVING ONE ANOTHER: Growth, support and fellowshipAt BPEFC, we are committed to fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ, expressed in Matthew 28:16—20 and Acts 1:8, to make disciples, train pastoral leaders both locally and internationally, and to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ globally. With our purpose being that the lost might be saved, disciples might be made, and local indigenous churches might be established so that the Church can reproduce itself.

Build Christ-centered families

Matthew 19:5, 6; Hebrews 13:4; Proverbs 22:6; Joshua 24:15

We believe that God desires each family/marriage to be built on the foundation of Jesus Christ, working together and serving one another as they glorify Him. Because of this, we will promote strong, healthy families and marriages through teaching, support and accountability. We will partner with parents in developing consistent spiritual-growth habits in their children. We will challenge parents to give their children the time and commitment necessary to raise them to be disciples of Jesus Christ.

People experience their full Christian potential at BPEFC because we are focused on making disciples of our children, youth and adults through a clear vision and disciplemaking process.

SHARING CHRIST: Demonstrating and Declaring the Good News

Share the love of Christ with all people (Matthew 9:36—38)

SHARING CHRIST: Demonstrating and Declaring the Good NewsJesus knows the heart of everyone. He knows we are unsettled. He knows we are lost. He also knows that many are ready to come to Him if there are those who are willing to help them find the way.

As we model Christ's life and his love through sharing the good news and loving others, people make decisions to follow Christ because they see God's love in us for all people.

SERVING OTHERS: In the Church and Community

Develop servant leaders

SERVING OTHERS: In the Church and CommunityMark 10:45; John 13:3—5; 1 Corinthians 14:12

We are committed to equipping disciples so they are ready to be involved in disciple-making ministries, both within and outside our church (Ephesians 4:11—16).

Jesus gave us the best example of being a servant. Mark 10:45 tells us, "For even the Son of man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." Jesus didn't just talk about serving others. He showed us the way to serve when he washed the disciples' feet with his own hands.

Minister with excellence

Colossians 3:17, 23; 2 Timothy 2:15

We will prayerfully seek the Lord's direction for the ministries of BPEFC as we strive to carry out each and every ministry in a way that will give glory to Jesus Christ.

People desire to be a part of something that's worthwhile. BPEFC ministries strive to do everything with excellence to the glory of God.
